Body Wash
Key to a fantastic finish begins with the preparation of the bodywork. Your car will be sprayed with soap suds and allowed to soak in preparation for washing.
Washing also represents the most hazardous process for your cars paintwork. Using a sponge is just about the worst thing you can do to your car. Believe it or not, whilst cleaning your pride and joy you are probably inflicting the worst damage it has experienced!
Your car will be washed with lambswool wash mitts that are designed to draw any dirt away from the paintwork. The washing process is conducted with two buckets, one wash, one rinse to ensure no damage is caused and the maximum amount of dirt is removed. The washing process involves cleaning all door jams, boot seals and engine interior bodywork.
Once washed, your car will be rinsed and dried with a Microfibre Drying Towel ensuring no defects are inflicted on your paintwork.
Once completely clean, the body work is left to dry in preparation for finishing later in the process. I now move onto the interior of your car .
Interior
Whilst the exterior of your car is drying the interior of your car will be detailed.
All fabric surfaces will be brushed, vacuumed and linted.
Finally, any stain removal required and fabric protection will be applied. The fabric protection will provide liquid and stain resistance for up to 9 months.
If you have a leather interior, your interior will be restored to factory condition by the application of the best leather cleaner and conditioner. This two stage process will restore your leather interior to the soft, matt finish of a newly delivered car.
Finally all plastic and vinyl will be cleaned and returned the clean matt finish of the original surface.
The next stage in the Total Perfection process is the engine bay.
Engine Bay
Whilst the interior cures and exterior completely dries, your engine bay will be cleaned. All surfaces will be degreased, cleaned and dried. Any plastics will be treated and restored.
All parts will be degreased, plastics renovated returning the engine bay to factory condition.
Don't underestimate the importance of this stage, it will differentiate your car from others, especially when selling your car.
Now we are ready to start preparing the bodywork.
Body Work
Washing your car is not enough to get the best of finishes.Your car is constantly bombarded by contaminants such as road dust, tar and exhaust fumes from your daily usage.
When you wash your car, the fresh contaminants are removed from the paint and the paintwork looks clean. However, only washing it will leave behind the bonded contaminants that are attached to the paint as if they had been glued on.
Detailing clay removing contaminants. Use of a claybar will remove bonded contaminants leaving a fantastic smooth finish ready for the polishing. This step is essential to preparing the paintwork for the application of polishes and/or waxes.
Paint cleanser removes microscopic level dirtEven then your paintwork has more cleaning to be done!!! State of the art paint cleaner will be applied, believe it or not there is more grime to be removed. This pad was pure white you see at the back of the pad at the beginning paint cleaning process.
At this point if your paintwork has scratches and/or swirl marks the paint correction process can be performed.
Alternatively, if we have chosen not to paint correct your car we move onto the waxing stage.
Waxing
Finally the best of waxes will applied to the paintwork nourishing it, sealing in the finish and bringing the deepest, wettest of shines out. The most appropriate wax for you car's colour, usage and longevity of finish will be applied.
Premier waxes from all of the best known manufacturer's, Swissvax (formally Swissol), Zymol, Zaino and Klasse are available to create that stunning finish if you wish to choose them.

Finishing
Whilst the wax cures ready for its final buffing all the exterior plastics will be treated, returning the new look if required, but importantly protecting them against UV rays for prolonged protection and finish.
Finally all glass is cleaned and protected.
And we are done!
The whole Total Perfection process take between 6 and 10 hours. No surface of the car is left untouched, the car will truly be in better condition than it has ever been, including when fresh from the factory.
